Showings Are Managed Through Supra Showing Service
Greater Victoria REALTORS use a communication tool called Supra Showing Service to arrange showings.
Here’s what that means for you:
- Agents representing potential buyers will send requests through the system.
- I’ll receive all requests first and can confirm with you before approving them.
- Alternatively, we can set it so requests come directly to you by text or email for faster response.
- We can even auto-approve or BLOCK OFF certain showing times, days or the week, or specific dates, based on your preferences
- Whether you need a few hours’ notice, overnight prep, or 24+ hours for tenants, we can set that up in advance. The system can also block out unavailable times or recurring windows you’d rather keep free.
Lockbox Access Keeps Things Secure 🔐
A lockbox containing your house key will be installed in a secure, discreet location on your property. Only licensed agents with authorized access (via electronic code that updates daily) can open it.
Each time the lockbox is accessed, we receive an alert—so we’ll always know who’s coming and going.
What Happens During a Showing? 🚪
Most showings happen with just the buyer’s agent and their clients. It's strongly recommended that you (or any tenants) aren’t home during the showing. This gives buyers space to freely explore the home, talk openly, and imagine themselves living there.
However, if tenants are present, they are legally entitled to remain home during the showing if they wish.
