I want to say “YES!” to all the things which will improve client experience and outcome, as well as help build our Vibe Collective team.
But that doesn’t mean I’m too busy to say “YES!” to you as well. During busy times of year, agents do hear about their clients and friends calling on other agents to arrange showings or gather information about a property they like.
“You seemed really busy, I didn’t want to bother you”
Bother me! I can often find time and I can even save YOU time finding helpful information. If (rarely) I don’t have time “right now” or the matter is urgent, I will get a team member or colleague to help.
The thing about being busy is, it comes and goes in waves. Spring is generally the busiest time of year for real estate, so the waves are larger, more frequent, and threaten to capsize even the most seaworthy of real estate captains.
To work in real estate, you need to be good at adapting to a constantly shifting schedule. Things are constantly popping up requiring our attention. I thrive on the excitement and unpredictability of it all, but there are rare occasions where it can feel like I’m drowning in it.
Like a rain squall. It can come on unexpectedly, buffet you around for a bit, and then move off, leaving you to clean up a mess. As they say, into every live, a little rain must fall.
Ok, that’s enough about the weather. The market has been mixed. I would call it a balanced market, but balanced nearer the line of buyer’s market than seller’s market. Inventory has been growing, with quite a large selection available for buyers, putting pressure on sellers to be competitive in their pricing and presentation.
